Reiki is a highly effective complementary modality that works well in conjunction with conventional medicine as well as other alternative therapies. Reiki never causes harm, and never interferes with other medications or treatments; it actually increases the benefits while reducing the negative side effects. It is very safe, natural and easy to learn, it is also a modality you can use on yourself. Anyone at any age can learn Reiki. Reiki healing was discovered by Dr. Mikao Usui during a 21 day retreat on Mt. Kurama, Japan in 1922. It is a Japanese technique for relaxation and stress relief that also promotes the body to heal itself. A Reiki practitioner may lay their hands on or above different areas of the body during the session. The word Reiki comes from two Japanese words Rei: meaning; universal, or the wisdom of the infinite-consciousness; and ki: life force energy. So Reiki IS, spiritually guided life force energy. While Usui Reiki is the energy vibration of universal love; Karuna Reiki® is the vibration of universal compassion. Reiki is transferred from teacher to student during an “attunement”; which allows the student to then access the unlimited energy of Reiki forever. It is a very relaxing process that is also healing. There are three degrees as well as an advanced class in Usui/Tibetan Reiki, there are also a total of six symbols. Karuna Reiki® has four level one symbols, four level two symbols and four master symbols. Each symbol accesses a different vibration and is fully discussed during class. This class teaches all the second level symbols, using Reiki for specific conditions, how to heal unwanted habits, distance healing, scanning and beaming. First Degree Reiki Training |

Advanced Reiki teaches use of the master symbol, meditation techniques, the use of crystals and stones to send Reiki continuously, Reiki aura clearing, and advanced techniques to achieve goals and resolve life lessons. Advanced Reiki Training (ART) |

Becoming a Reiki Master gives you the ability to give Reiki attunements to others. You learn the Usui/Tibetan and Usui attunement process for all Reiki levels, the healing attunement, an Advanced Reiki meditation that harmonizes the chakras, and two Tibetan symbols to aid in healing work. Class fee: $650 Deposit: $200 Prerequisites: Advanced Reiki Training (ART) or 3a (3a is what some Reiki Masters call Advanced Reiki Training) NCBTMB approved for 16 Continuing Education Hours. Reiki Master Training |

Karuna Reiki® was developed by The International Center for Reiki Training, it is a 3 day intensive class. You will be a full Karuna Reiki® Master including the ability to perform all the attunements and practice all the techniques. You will learn all twelve symbols, meditations, chanting and toning. There is lots of practice time giving and receiving Karuna Reiki® treatments and all attunements. You will be able to register as a Karuna Reiki® Master at www.reiki.org (Erin Donnelly is #84003). Class fee: $875 Deposit $275 Prerequisites: you must be a Reiki Master at least one year before you can take Karuna Reiki®Master Training This class does not give NCBTMB hours at this time. We are in the process of submitting this class for NCBTMB CE Hours. |
